Which are the main preliminary warnings to observe for a correct filter maintenance?
- Ensure that the voltage shown on the appliance corresponds to that of your home electrical power supply.
- Make sure your home is protected by an automatic safety breaker switch with an operating current of no more than 30 mA.
- Do not connect the filter to the power supply before correctly completing all the installation procedures (including filling the aquarium with water).
- The filter is intended only for indoor use
- Always disconnect the filter from the electric power supply before carrying out any maintenance.
- Always ensure that the water level stays above the minimum level and below the maximum; both are shown on the front of the BLUWAVE filter.
- Connect the plugs to your electric power supply leaving a loop in the cable below the electrical socket to prevent drops of water running down the cable and into the power supply.
- The pump power supply cable cannot be repaired or replaced; if damaged, the whole pump or heater must be replaced.
- Check that the filter intake grilles are not blocked.
- The water temperature must not exceed 35°C.
