TECHNICAL FEATURES

• 1 / INNOVATIVE VENTILATION SYSTEM. In order to allow the necessary air circulation in the terrarium, an innovative system has been designed which allows air to enter both through the grills at the front and from the base of the terrarium (Fig. a). To allow the air to flow out, special openings have been cretaed in the top (Fig. b).
• 2 / INNOVATIVE SAFETY CATCH. The sliding doors of the Explora terrariums have an innovative safety catch, equipped with professional lock with metallic key for models 80-100 and plastic key for models 40-50-60. For an easy opening the sliding doors have convenient handles (Fig. a).
• 3 / FRONT BORDER. The front glass border of the Explora terrariums, from 7 to 11 cm high, allows sandy substrate to be placed at the bottom and also guarantees watertight in case of set-ups using water.
• 4 / SUPPORTING FEET. The Explora terrariums have practical little feet which, by lifting the base up off the supporting surface, allow the necessary air circulation under the terrarium and also make it possible to place most types of heating mat underneath the glass bottom.

ACCESSORIES

• EXPLORALIGH: Ferplast’s Exploralight overtank lamp can be added to the Explora 50, 60, 80 and 100 terrariums and it can hold 2 lamps. A special suction system guarantees maximum stability for the overtank lamp. The upper part of the Explora terrariums has been designed in order to let the beneficial rays pass throught, thus allowing UVB lamps to be affixed to the rear of the overtank lamp Exploralight.
• SPOT COVER: If you use spot lamps, for the safety of the animals inside the terrarium Ferplast bring you the Spot Cover, to be placed inside yhe special openings provided in the Explora terrariums (with the exception of models 40 and 50). The openings in the Spot Cover guarantee the necessary air circulation.
